I sometimes wish people would have more empathy in society and knowing that we are all related, coming from one family of origin. Sometimes I just wish we could create a better world fast.. 🫠
It is really that simple, isn’t it? Sometimes I think that along the path of evolution as a society, we acquired a taste for complicating everything… So your skin is darker than mine? Get into that little box over there, cause you’re scary. You don’t believe in god? Your little box is on the other side, cause I don’t trust you. You think faster than the rest of us? Let’s pin a label on your forehead so everyone can be scared of you because you’re different.
The question is… Who isn’t different? Doesn’t “being normal” make them different to the vast majority, and doesn’t that automatically mean they’re different too?
Getting along is a piece of cake if you just turn that fear into curiosity.
It really can be that simple. As a society, we’ve learned to complicate differences and put people into boxes. But everyone is different in their own way, even the ones we call “normal.” If we replace fear with curiosity, getting along becomes much easier. ☺️
