Community Guidelines for NeuroMynds
A Safe and Respectful Space for Neurodivergent Families, Individuals and Allies
Last Updated: October, 2025
Welcome to the NeuroMynds Community, a global space created to uplift, support, and connect those navigating life with neurodivergence, including ADHD, Autism, AuDHD and more. Whether you’re a parent, caregiver, educator, professional, or neurodivergent yourself – you’re welcome here!
To keep this community inclusive, respectful and legally safe for everyone, we ask all members to follow these guidelines. By participating, you also agree to our [Terms of Use] and [Privacy Policy].
1. Safety, Respect, and Kindness Come First
-
No hate speech, harassment, or discrimination based on neurodivergence, disability, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, or any other identity.
-
No bullying, name-calling, or personal attacks. Disagreements happen — but keep it respectful.
-
No threats, encouragement of violence, or self-harm. Violations may result in immediate content removal or account suspension and may be reported to authorities if necessary.
2. Respect Lived Experience
-
Center the voices of neurodivergent individuals. Parents, caregivers, and professionals are important allies, but the space prioritizes ND experiences.
-
Avoid speaking over or for others, and refrain from assumptions or generalizations. Every neurodivergent journey is unique.
-
Use respectful, person-first or identity-first language based on individual preference. Avoid functioning labels (like “high” or “low” functioning).
3. No Promotion of Harmful Practices
-
Discussions about therapies (e.g., ABA) are welcome, but promotion of coercive, harmful, or dehumanizing practices is prohibited.
-
Neurodiversity-affirming space only: no “cures” for ADHD or autism.
-
Pseudoscience, miracle treatments, or unverified claims may be removed.
4. No Medical or Legal Advice
-
Members may share personal experiences, but do not rely on posts for medical, psychological, or legal guidance.
-
Always consult a licensed professional in your region for such matters.
-
Independent coaches listed on the Platform are not employees of NeuroMynds, and we are not liable for their advice, services, or outcomes.
5. Protect Privacy
-
Do not share personal information (yours or others’) including addresses, full names, medical records, schools, or contact details.
-
Be especially mindful when posting about children: avoid identifiable information or content that may be sensitive later.
6. Respect International Diversity
-
NeuroMynds is a global community. Respect cultural differences in language, tone, and parenting norms.
-
Write clearly and kindly, not everyone shares the same first language or communication style.
7. No Spam, Promotions, or Unauthorized Self-Promotion
-
No commercial advertising, MLMs, or affiliate links.
-
If you’re a creator, coach, or professional, share your services only in designated threads or with admin approval.
8. Moderation & Enforcement
-
NeuroMynds reserves the right to edit, remove, or restrict content or accounts that violate these guidelines.
-
Serious or repeated violations may lead to account suspension or permanent bans.
-
While the community is self-moderated, NeuroMynds may intervene for harmful content or behavior.
-
You are here to facilitate safety, not debate; please respect each other.
9. Be Supportive, Not Perfect
-
Mistakes happen, we value learning, growth, and repair over shame.
-
If you are called in gently, listen, reflect, and move forward. We’re here to grow together.
10. Report and Reach Out
-
If you see content that violates these rules or makes you feel unsafe, report it via the contact form or email legal@neuromynds.com.
-
Reports are handled confidentially, and appropriate action will be taken.
11. Participation at Your Own Risk
-
Community content is user-generated or AI-assisted and may contain inaccuracies.
-
NeuroMynds is not liable for any consequences arising from participation or coaching engagements.
Let’s co-create a space where all kinds of brains feel seen, heard, and safe. 💛
